If it’s not desirable to use the library's template with checkboxes, the department must obtain and save approval from the student in another way and mark that such approval is available, at the deposit in Epsilon.
The approval can take place in one of the following ways:
1. The student can approve or refrain from future publication by signing an appendix to the work plan for independent works.
2. The student can give their approval for publication in connection with submission. In the library's template for student work, for example, it is possible to select via checkbox whether the work is to be published or not.
