There are two main paths to compliance: 1) by publishing your paper in an open access journal and 2) by self-archiving your paper in the SLU publication database, SLUpub. Information on the different paths to compliance can be found here under the heading Making the publication openly available.

The first path is self-explanatory but might come with a fee. Be sure to consult our list of open access agreements when publishing. These agreements transfer the cost of publishing from authors to the university.

The second path means that upon publication in a traditional journal you also deposit a copy of your peer reviewed manuscript in an open access repository. This is done easily by registering your publication in SLUpub – just make sure to upload a copy of your manuscript and check the appropriate box in the form.
