Extended hours means that Students, researchers, teachers and other SLU staff have access to the library and learning resources beyond our regular staffed hours.
You use your key card to get access outside the library's regular staffed hours. The extended hours differ on our various Campuses and more information about your campus can be found here.
You use the self checkout machine to borrow and return books, if there is a problem with the machine - there are instructions on how to write down the information for the librarians about the book you checked out, where the machines is.
Security guards will do their rounds in the library during the evening.
Please be careful not to let unauthorized persons in!
