SLU students and employees can download maps via the Historical Maps service from Lantmäteriet. There are three formats to choose from;
DjVu
Requires a DjVu plugin installation, and currently only works with Internet Explorer.
PNG
Common image format for web graphics. Does not require any plugin, but image quality is a bit lower than for DjVu.
TIFF
Best image quality. There is a fee, and the format is not included in SLU's agreement with Lantmäteriet, i.e. students and employees have to pay themselves.
