We have flexible loan periods at the SLU University Library, and they are determined by the demand for the book.
Most books have a loan period of 30-180 days. If nobody else requests the book when the first 30 days have passed, you can keep the book up to 180 days. If somebody requests it, you will get an recall notice via e-mail, and the book has to be returned straight away.
Course literature has a loan period of 8-30 days.
Reference literature does not have a flexible loan period, but always need to be returned by 10 AM the next day.
You can renew your loans online under My loans as long as nobody else has requested the book.
